What it covers

The polish that separates raw footage from a finished film — clean-up, motion titles, explainer graphics and grade.

Good footage still needs finishing. Wires and logos get painted out, a shaky handheld take gets stabilised, a title sequence gets built to the brand's type, and the whole thing gets a grade so every shot in the cut looks like it belongs to the same film.

We also build motion graphics from scratch — the explainer that makes a service make sense in 40 seconds, the animated lower-thirds for an interview series, the logo sting that tops every reel.

Who books vfx & motion graphics

  • Brands with footage already shot

  • Explainer & product videos

Motion graphics that make a service make sense in forty seconds, animated from a script and storyboard.

  • Interview & podcast series

Lower-thirds, chapter titles and a repeatable template so every episode matches the last.

  • Agencies needing overflow capacity

White-label editing and graphics to a brief, on a deadline, without adding to your payroll.

How it runs

From brief to delivery

  1. Review the cut

We watch the locked edit and flag what needs clean-up, what needs graphics and what the grade should do.

  2. Design pass

Title and graphic styleframes go to you as stills first — cheaper to change a frame than an animation.

  3. Animate & composite

Approved frames get animated, plates get cleaned, and VFX shots are composited.

  4. Grade, mix, deliver

Colour grade, sound mix, then exports for every platform plus the archive project.

Budget

What moves the price

Every quote is built from these, and naming them is how you compare two quotes properly.

  • Runtime of the finished cut, and how much footage it was cut from
  • Whether graphics are designed from scratch or built on an existing brand template
  • VFX shots needing clean-up, removals or tracking, counted per shot
  • Number of language or platform versions
  • Turnaround — a next-day cut costs more than a two-week schedule
  • Whether music and sound effects need licensing

FAQ

VFX & Motion Graphics — questions we get

Yes — post-only projects are common, and it's a large part of what this service does. Send us the rushes with any project files and we'll tell you what's achievable before quoting.

VFX is work on filmed plates: removals, clean-up, stabilisation, compositing. Motion graphics is designed animation: titles, explainers, lower-thirds. Most films need some of both, and both are covered.

Editing is quoted by the finished runtime and the state of the footage, not by the hour — an hour of rushes cut to ninety seconds is a different job from a two-minute film cut from twenty hours. The factors above are what change it. We quote per project, with revision rounds named up front so the number doesn't move later.

Two rounds on the edit and one on the grade, as standard. Anything beyond that is quoted as extra time rather than absorbed quietly and rushed.

Yes. On request we hand over the editable project along with fonts and assets, so another team can pick it up later.

Yes — this is one of the services we run entirely remotely. Files move over cloud storage, approvals happen over email or WhatsApp, and delivery is the same either way.
